Macworld Expo Apple can survive without?

When Apple announced that in December 2009 Macworld Conference and Expo will be the last event in which the company will be attending Macworld, the news has sent ripples though the Mac user community can survive without Apple's participation in the conference?

For years, the main presentation Steve Jobs' has been seen as the highlight of the show. Over the years, many of his keynotes to introduce the world to new and innovative products from Apple, like the iMac, PowerBook, Safari web browser, iTunes, iPod, iPad and iPhone.

However, it seems that Apple's decision to pull the conference was not held back consumer demand for Apple's all. Even without a job, "keynote address and the presence of Apple at the trade show floor, registration numbers for the show are in line with previous years.
